Bronx Masquerade

This book Bronx Masquerade starts off slow but really picks it up in the middle of the story with the imput and enthusiasm of the students from a part of town no smart person would be at certain times of day. What triggers the enthusiasm from the students is when their teacher Mr. Ward introduces them to some poetry from the Harlem Renaissance. Their poetry holds some real eye openers.
